Getting started
A conversation.
Then a little less to remember.
Pepper lives in WhatsApp. Start with hello and build your family’s plans one notice at a time.
Four steps to get started
Say hello.
When your invitation arrives, open Pepper’s WhatsApp chat from it and send “Hi Pepper”. There’s no separate app to install.
Introduce your family.
Share your children’s names, schools and year groups. Pepper asks for one detail at a time. You can pause setup and return to it later.
Send something useful.
Forward a school notice, share a photo or upload a PDF. Tell Pepper what you need, whether that’s an explanation or help saving a plan.
Ask when you need it.
Check what’s coming up, ask about saved details or send HOME to see your dashboard. Correct a detail in chat when something changes.
Make it your own
Choose the help you want.
Connect school emails
Optional Gmail or personal Outlook / Hotmail checks can help you organise matching school mail. You’ll see what access is requested before deciding to connect.
How school email works →Set up a morning briefing
Send BRIEFING and choose Yes, then Every day or Events only. Pick a morning time between 5am and 11:59am UK time.
You can change the schedule or switch briefings off in your settings.
